Sebastian is cold at the office but steps in when Carmen sends Ellie up and down twenty flights of stairs on coffee runs. Then Brian walks in with Lola, asking his father to hire her. Sebastian says no, and Brian corners Ellie, demanding she sleep with him. She knees him and hints that his future stepmom might want a piece of the company.

Ryan soon tells Sebastian the truth: Ellie is Brian's ex, and she is probably using him for revenge. Instead of firing her, Sebastian decides to see how far she will go.

With Jasper as her coach, Ellie tries everything: short skirts, dropped files, even a fake office boyfriend, who happens to be Jasper. Sebastian enjoys every failed attempt. Then Carmen plays the steamy audiobook on Ellie's phone through the meeting room speakers. Alone in his office, Sebastian demands to know if she wants him or wants to destroy him, and Ellie, who has truly fallen for him, runs out in tears.

Carmen goes further and locks Ellie in a bathroom until she faints. Sebastian breaks the door down and announces in front of everyone that Ellie is now a full-time employee. Ellie begs him to keep his distance. She loves him, and she will not come between a father and his son.

At home, Sebastian overhears Brian bragging that his cheating was a ploy to wear Ellie down, and warns him to stay away or lose everything. Brian keeps coming, with roses and then at her door, until Ellie pepper-sprays him and tells him she slept with someone else that night.

When Ellie asks for time off, Sebastian assumes she is running off to Vegas with Brian. He admits he knew about her and Brian all along. Ellie confesses she started it all for revenge but fell in love, and Sebastian tells her he loves her too.

Lola storms into the office and slaps Ellie, and the staff whisper that she stole the boss's son. Sebastian puts his arm around her and says she is with him. He has Lola thrown out, fires Carmen for letting her in and for weeks of sabotage, then drops to one knee in front of everyone. Ellie says yes.

At the bridal fitting, Brian shows up broke after losing millions gambling in Vegas. He grabs Ellie by the throat and demands his father's whole company. Ellie drives an elbow into him and beats him with her bouquet until he begs her to stop. Ryan tells Brian he is cut off for good, and Ellie takes Sebastian's arm: 'Let's get married.' They wed surrounded by friends and falling petals.
