Engaged to the Secret Billionaire is a fake-dating romance with a twist: the penniless stranger an heiress pays to marry her is secretly a tech billionaire. Between a scheming stepmother, a violent would-be groom and a lie that keeps growing, every deal in this story comes with a hidden price.
What is Engaged to the Secret Billionaire about?
Abigail Blackstock has spent her life shopping, partying and traveling as the only daughter of Alistair Blackstock, the richest man in California. That ends when her stepmother Ophelia lays down a new rule: Abigail only gets the fortune her late mother left her if she is married by her 25th birthday, which is one month away.
The groom Ophelia has in mind is her own nephew, Walter Morton, a cruel man who sees a wife as a trophy. What Abigail doesn't know is the reason for the rush. Her father has gambled away most of the family's cash, and Ophelia wants to reach Abigail's inheritance through Walter.
Abigail refuses and makes a bet with her father instead: give her until her birthday to find a husband of her own. Minutes later, a scruffy stranger she bought a coffee for earlier that day knocks on the door, and she introduces him as her boyfriend on the spot.
He calls himself TJ. His real name is Tristan Caldwell, the secretive founder of TriWell Tech, and he sees the fake engagement as a way into the struggling Blackstock company.
