Forbidden Attraction to the Billionaire: Riley and Lucas's Full Story, Characters & Ending

Gia makes Riley scrub floors until 2am, until Lucas finds her, rolls up his sleeves and helps. When he carries her to bed, she kisses him, and he kisses her back before pulling away.

Riley's idea for a party contest settles a patent fight with Duncan. Lucas admits he only stays with Gia because his mother will have the board replace him as CEO if he doesn't. During the contest party Riley catches Gia with Duncan, and the pair lock her in a room, but Noble wins. Soon after, Lucas nearly dies from a mustard allergy after eating Riley's cooking. Gia blames her, but the security footage shows someone swapping the spices.

When Riley tells Lucas what she saw at the party, he needs time. Then Gia trips Riley one time too many, and Lucas asks for his ring back. Then he and Riley finally give in. He makes her Director of Events so she is no longer his employee at home, and asks her to be his girlfriend.

Ettie storms in and gives her son ten days to fix things with Gia. Riley tries to impress her by playing a rich socialite, gets caught, then tells the plain truth. Ettie moves in to watch her, and ends up laughing over cocktails with her.

Duncan lures Riley to a restaurant and kisses her just as Lucas walks in, then claims she has been feeding him files. Then Riley learns Dr. Hargrove is Gia's father, and they threaten to throw her mother out of the trial unless she leaves Lucas. She writes him a goodbye note and goes.

She comes back to work anyway and tells Lucas the truth. He finds Patricia a place in another trial, but when they go to move her, she suddenly collapses. Riley sees the tinted IV, remembers the swapped spices, and demands a blood test. Dr. Hargrove is arrested, and Patricia wakes up to meet her daughter's boyfriend.

Ettie steps down and hands Lucas the company. At the farewell dinner, Duncan arrives with Gia and shows off a product stolen from Noble's locked files. Gia drugs Riley in the restroom and ties her up in a storage unit, then pulls a knife. Lucas beats the location out of Duncan and breaks in. When Gia lunges at Riley, Lucas throws himself in the way and is stabbed.

Gia is arrested, and Julia rushes Lucas to the hospital while Riley keeps him alive. He wakes to hear Riley say she loves him. Later, in a park, he proposes. They marry in a small ceremony at the Noble estate, with a healthy Patricia walking Riley down the aisle and Julia officiating. A month after the wedding, Riley quits: she is going back to school, then starting her own company.
