My Knockout Fake Husband: Nora and Luke's Full Story, Characters & Ending

The arrangement is rocky from the start. Nora knows nothing about children, Luke wants nothing to do with politics, and Skye has opinions about everyone. Still, the three of them start to look like a real family, and Nora finds herself caring about more than the polls.

Then Eli digs into Luke's past. His wife died after an insurance company refused to cover her treatment, and the denial carries Nora's signature from a compliance job she held years earlier. Horrified, Nora burns the file and says nothing.

One afternoon, buried in campaign calls, Nora does not notice Skye slip out of the house. A stranger grabs the girl in a park, and Luke gets her back with his fists. Furious that Nora let his daughter out of her sight, he ends the deal and signs on for a fight, breaking his promise to Skye.

Walter has already paid Tommy to make sure Luke goes down, and the opponent's gloves are loaded with metal. Luke fights back hard, until Walter steps up to the ring and hands him proof that Nora signed the denial. Stunned, Luke drops his guard, takes a brutal hit and ends up in a coma.

Nora faces the televised debate alone, and Walter uses Luke's condition to make her freeze on stage. Soon after, Luke wakes up and asks if it is true. Nora admits it, explaining she signed what her bosses put in front of her, and turns to leave. Luke pulls her back and kisses her.

At the campaign gala, Walter reveals a DNA test proving Skye is not Nora's child. Luke stands up for her anyway: a mother is the one who shows up. Then he plays footage of Walter bribing fighters to throw matches. Nora wins the Senate seat, but Luke walks away, sure he does not belong in her world.

Walter strikes back. Luke is arrested for assault, Skye is taken into custody by a judge Walter bribed, and Walter threatens to send her away for good unless Nora resigns and marries him. Nora gives in. At a press conference she says her family was fake, steps down and endorses her rival, while Walter announces their engagement.

On the wedding day, Nora gets Walter to boast about bribing the judge while her phone records every word. He catches her, drugs her and drags her to an abandoned warehouse, where Skye is being held. Luke, who hid a tracker in Nora's dress, finds them and fights his way through Walter's men.

Walter puts a knife to Nora's throat, but she disarms him and slams him to the ground. He grabs a gun and fires, and Luke throws himself in front of her and takes the bullet. In the hospital, Luke wakes with Skye at his side, and he and Nora finally say they love each other.

A few months later, reporters crowd around Nora as she steps out as a senator. Luke kisses her, lifts Skye onto his shoulders, and the two of them cheer her on from the crowd.
