Plaything of the Mafia King: Persie and Luca's Full Story, Characters & Ending

Persie finds a heart-shaped locket in Luca's desk and thinks it is Alexis's. Tanya warns her off, then chains her to a statue and throws her into the pool. Luca dives in and saves her. As she comes round, Persie sees a bull tattoo on his chest, the same mark Alexis saw on her kidnapper. Luca throws Tanya out.

Persie sneaks into the Turino strip club for answers, and Luca rescues her from its sleazy manager. The bull, he explains, is the family sign that all his men wear. Persie slowly gives in to Luca's private rules and asks to learn the business. She helps him question the manager, who says a masked Jacobucci man came to the club. Then Luca kills him, and Persie is shaken.

She then finds Alexis's real locket, with their childhood photo inside, in Luca's safe and backs off. Natalie gives her a number to call for help, but it is a trap, and Luca and Freddy save her from three thugs. Believing Natalie's claim that Persie works for Jacobucci, Luca ties her up and questions her, but he cannot hurt her. Persie tells him the truth, and he swears to help.

They realize Jacobucci is in love with Alexis, and someone took her to push him into a war with Luca. Alexis calls from a shed, mentions a bull pin in the van, and the line goes dead. Freddy lets slip a detail no one told him, the shed, and Persie finds the wolf mask in his car.

Freddy grabs Persie at gunpoint and shoots Luca in the shoulder, then boasts that he set up their father's murder. Persie fires Luca's gun and Freddy runs. With no doctor, Persie pulls the bullet out herself and tells Luca she loves him. He says it back. But just as he proposes, police burst in and arrest him for Alexis's kidnapping. From prison, he sends her money for a new life and tells her to forget him.

Persie refuses. In a wig and glasses, she slips back into the mansion as a maid while Freddy takes over as don. She finds Alexis locked in the basement. Luca breaks out of prison and comes home. Persie knocks out Tanya, who has joined Freddy, and Luca storms the pool deck where Freddy is meeting Jacobucci.

Freddy has Luca on his knees at gunpoint. Persie walks out holding a knife to Alexis's throat, a staged bluff that makes Jacobucci turn his gun on Freddy. She hands Alexis over, and when Freddy breaks the deal and aims at Luca, Persie shoots him dead with Tanya's pistol.

Later, Alexis moves into Persie's old room at the mansion. Persie and Luca are married. At the garden table where the family does business, he places a diamond tiara on her head, and Natalie kneels before them under guard. Persie bites into a pomegranate, and Luca welcomes her to the Underworld.
