The Virgin and The Professor: Katrina and Dante's Full Story, Characters & Ending

Dante is more amused than angry about the story, and Katrina's first attempt at seduction, after a makeover from Mei, falls flat at the professors' wine bar. Then they start talking about history. He tells her about the Roman library he found under a pizza place in Sicily and invites her home to see an ancient scroll. They kiss, and things go further, though he insists the next morning that it was a mistake.

He cannot stay away. Over dinner he admits that his ex-wife shattered his trust, then tries to transfer Katrina to another class, but never goes through with it. With initiation days away, the two finally spend the night together in his office, and Katrina quietly snaps a photo of his bare back for the sorority. Afterward he tells her that Gloria cheated on him with Dean Chambers, and Katrina understands why he keeps his walls up. The photo gets her into Theta, but she feels sick about it.

At the initiation party, Stacy tells her to drop her "old geezer" and pushes her toward Garth. When Garth forces a kiss on her, she slaps him and walks out of the sorority for good. Garth corners her outside, and Dante arrives just in time to shove him away. In the car, Dante calls her his girlfriend and asks her to join his summer dig in Sicily. She says yes, still not brave enough to tell him the truth.

Stacy wants revenge. She pressures Mei into secretly filming the couple through Dante's window, then takes the video and the photo to Dean Chambers, reminding him that her father is a trustee. Chambers, who has just been spotted out with Gloria, is thrilled. He puts Dante on leave and plans to have him fired.

When Dante asks Katrina how the dean got the photo, she confesses everything about the dare. He feels used and ends things. Katrina storms a sorority meeting to confront Stacy, Ariana finally takes her side, and Mei quits Theta too. Mei apologizes, and the two friends start working on a plan to save Dante's job.

Mei pretends she wants back into Theta and gets Stacy talking while her phone records. Stacy happily admits the sisters used Katrina to do their homework and raise their grades. Faced with a recording that could get the whole sorority kicked off campus, Stacy begs for mercy and agrees to take her story back. The dean drops his report to the trustees.

Dante is back in the classroom, and Katrina has declared a history major. In his office, she apologizes again. He tells her he guessed she was behind the dean's change of heart, that he is finally over Gloria, and that he loves her. He has taken a job at a bigger school across town, so they will no longer have to hide. Katrina says she loves him too, and they still have until the end of finals week.
